Amarelle and RICS present cheque to sporting charities

Representatives from Amarelle Ltd and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Bristol and West were welcomed to Ashton Gate on Sunday to present a cheque for £2,259 to Bristol Bears Community Foundation and Bristol Sport Foundation.

The money was raised at an annual touch rugby tournament, organised brilliantly by Amarelle Ltd, and presented during the half time interval of Bristol Bears’ Premiership Rugby Cup clash with London Irish.

It will be used to fund the Community Foundation’s Eagle Project and the pilot of a brand-new girls’ mental health programme, Bear in Mind.

“I had the pleasure of refereeing the recent Amarelle RICS Touch Rugby Tournament,” said Community Foundation Development Manager, Craig Capel.

“The event was a fantastic showcase of touch rugby played in the June sunshine with great company and pizza to finish.

“We are really fortunate to have the support of Amarelle and we look forward to sharing the success stories from the girls focussed health and wellbeing programme the funds raised will support.”
