As it happened: Bristol Bears 12-20 Exeter Chiefs

Exeter Chiefs ended the Bears' six-game winning run in the Gallagher Premiership with a bruising victory at Ashton Gate on Friday night.

Bears led early on through a fine try from Andy Uren before Sam Skinner and Tom O'Flaherty replied for Chiefs.

Jacques Vermeulen stretched their 15-5 half-time lead just before the hour as Bears spurned good field position.

Luke Morahan went over for Bristol's second try late but Exeter won to close the gap to the leaders to eight points.

Re-live all of the action from Ashton Gate, as we dissect the key moments.

13 mins – Cowan-Dickie breaks and feeds Vermeulen but Morahan gets back to scythe him down and force the knock-on.

15 mins – TRY – 5-0 – Piutau and Adeolokun link up to send Uren in and the scrum half shakes off the attention of O’Flaherty and sprints in to score.

19 mins – Sam Simmonds breaks from his own 22 but Piutau gets back to haul him down.
