As it happened: Bristol Bears 18-17 Northampton Saints

Sam Bedlow scored a last-minute penalty to earn back-to-back Gallagher Premiership wins for the Bears.

The replacements fly half stepped up to land the winning kick after Ehren Painter was penalised for a deliberate knock-on.

Converted scores from David Ribbans and Piers Francis had put Saints 14-5 up at the break, with Henry Purdy replying.

Piers O'Conor's late try gave the Bears hope of a turnaround, and Bedlow provided a dramatic finale to the game.

Re-live all of the action from Friday night's Gallagher Premiership victory over Northampton Saints, as we dissect the key moments.

1 min – CHANCE – Tiff Eden held up inches short but Saints scramble and win the turnover.

9 mins – TRY – 0-7 – Ribbans breaks through a tackle and races clear to score the opener.

15 mins – TRY – 0-14 – Grayson chips ahead and Francis gathers to touch down. Grayson converts.

20 mins – TRY – 5-14 - Neat handling from Piutau and Eden finds Purdy on the outside arc, and the full back finishes with pace and power.

39 mins – TRY DISALLOWED – 5-14 – Wonderful handling from the Bears again to send Leiua over, but TMO calls a knock-on in build-up.

HT: Bristol Bears 5-14 Northampton Saints

45 mins – PEN – 8-14 – Penalty at scrum time and Eden reduces the deficit with simple kick.

54 mins – PEN MISSED – 8-14 – High tackle on Afoa but Eden is off target from the angle.

57 mins – PEN MISSED – 8-14 – Another miss from the tee after penalty at scrum time.

68 mins – PEN – 8-17 – Penalty for the visitors and Grayson is on target to extend the Saints lead.

73 mins – TRY – 15-17 – Randall grubbers through the Saints defence and O'Conor races on to the kick to score. Bedlow converts.

80 mins – PEN – 18-17 - Drama at the death, and the Bears have snatched victory. Painter penalised for a deliberate knock-on, and Bedlow steps up to win the game from long range.
