As it happened: Gloucester 17-18 Bristol Bears

Bristol Bears battled back to earn a dramatic late victory over Gloucester at Kingsholm on Friday night.

Tries from Bryan Byrne and Jake Heenan made it all square at the break, before Ollie Thorley added to Santiago Carreras' first-half double to give Gloucester the lead.

But two Ioan Lloyd penalties, the last of which came five minutes from time, snatch the win for Pat Lam's men.

Re-live all of the action from Kingsholm, as we dissect the key moments.

5 mins – TRY – 0-5 – Strong maul from the Bears and Byrne touches down for his seventh try of the season in all competitions.

12 mins – TRY – 7-5 – Gloucester hit back as Carreras intercepts O’Conor’s pass to race clear. Twelvetrees converts.

27 mins – TRY – 12-5 – A second intercept for Carreras, who picks off Siale Piutau’s floated pass to race in and edge the hosts in front.

34 mins – TRY – 12-12 – Lloyd links up beautifully with Woolmore and then Attwood, who feeds Heenan to score a free-flowing try. Lloyd converts and it's all square.

HT: Gloucester 12-12 Bristol Bears

53 mins – TRY – 17-12 – Gloucester back in front, as Thorley touches down out wide after quick-tap from Heinz and offload from Woodward.

57 mins – PEN – 17-15 – Two-point game - Lloyd knocks over a simple penalty after prolonged pressure in Glos 22.

75 mins – PEN – 17-18 – Tense. Armstrong tackled high and Lloyd lands long-range penalty to give the Bears the lead.

80 mins - Gloucester threatening but Heenan wins the turnover and Charles Piutau kicks into touch to clinch the win.
