Ashton Gate to host UK Armed Forces fixture

Bristol Bears 'A' are set to host the UK Armed Forces in an invitational game at Ashton Gate on Thursday (7.45pm KO).

The charity fixture – in support of the Royal British Legion – will take place in BS3 with tickets on sale now.

Tickets for the annual clash are available for £8 for adults and £4 for U12s, with no concessions for season card holders.

Last season, a Bristol United side comprising of Combination club guest players and Academy players went down 26-42 in front of over 3,000 supporters.

“This time around Remembrance Day is hugely important to Bristol Bears. The players and staff always attend the traditional service at the Memorial Ground gates, while we will be marking Armistice Day on November 7th when we entertain Gloucester in the Premiership Cup.”

Mark Tainton, COO

Chief operating officer Mark Tainton said: “As always, the club are proud to support the UK Armed forces and raise funds for a fantastic cause.
