Bristol Bears has teamed up with Astra Security to ensure optimum safety and security at their new High-Performance Centre.
The world class facility has been fitted with the latest state-of-the-art high-definition CCTV system, covering all external areas of the buildings and grounds. The new system also features the installation of a video-intercom barrier and door system.
Additionally, Astra have also fitted a thermal technology terminal, testing an individual’s body temperature quickly and efficiently as they enter, as well as reminding the user to wear a mask if they are not already.
Chief Executive, Mark Tainton, said: “We are pleased to be working with Astra, who have been professional, efficient and provided the expertise that's been needed.”
“A world class training centre needs to be in safe hands, and Astra Security has provided total peace of mind for us. Keeping our players, staff and visitors as safe as possible is our highest priority and with the added complication of the pandemic, knowing we have the very latest in camera technology provides reassurance.”
The 2011/12 season was coming to a close and for Scott Murray it meant he would soon swap kicking balls for pumping them up instead.
