Bristol Bears Women’s top-of-the-table clash with Saracens Women at Shaftesbury Park on Sunday, February 27th will be broadcast live on the BBC Sport website, iPlayer and red button.
The streaming of the round 15 clash is part of the biggest ever commitment from the Rugby Football Union to showcase the Allianz Premier 15s with two matches from each round live streamed, and highlights of every game produced for clubs to use.
In addition, the Bears’ trip to Wasps in round 14 and the home clash with Loughborough Lightning in round 16 have both been selected for streaming on Premier15s.com.
So far nearly 600,000 people have watched the Allianz Premier 15s either on Premier15s.com or BBC channels.
“We’re absolutely delighted so many people have been able to enjoy the action from the first half of the 2021/22 season which has been extremely competitive," said RFU head of the women’s and girls’ game Alex Teasdale.
“It’s great to partner with the BBC and be able to broadcast on our own channels and to see the growth.
“There are a number of exciting games coming up over the forthcoming rounds for viewers and spectators to enjoy and we’d encourage everyone to tune in.”
