Bears Academy outlines future vision

More than 400 people attended Ashton Gate, as the club presented its Academy restructure and vision for the future on Wednesday night (September 18th). 

The evening, led by Director of Rugby Pat Lam, attracted vast interest from schools and clubs across the city.

Lam kicked off the evening with a presentation about the club's vision, direction and ambition, before taking questions from members of the audience.

The Director of Rugby was followed by the newly-appointed Head of Senior Academy, Gethin Watts, who outlined his plans for the role.

Gary Townsend (Head of Junior Academy), Rory Murray (Head of Medical Services), Kevin Geary (Head of S&C) and George Van Klaveren (Academy S&C) also took to the stage to present different aspects and features of the club's Academy setup, on an insightful and educational evening at Ashton Gate.
