Bears feature as England beat Wales

Kyle Sinckler and Ben Earl's England saw off Callum Sheedy's Wales in Saturday's Autumn Nations Cup clash at Parc y Scarlets.

Sinckler started in a powerful England pack, while Ben Earl and Callum Sheedy came on as second-half replacements in the final Autumn Nations Cup pool fixture.

England head coach Eddie Jones: “We’d like to play with a bit more fluency but it’s just not there at the moment.

“I’m really pleased with the boys’ effort, I thought their work today was outstanding.

“We want to put a smile on their the fans' faces and hopefully there are plenty of fans at home today with a smile on their face.

“It’s nice to see rugby returning back to having fans as part of the community rather than a virtual part of the community and we want to put a big smile on those coming.”

Wales head coach Wayne Pivac said: “The players believe that we’re starting to see the fruits of the labour of the work we’ve done in the last few weeks. Today it was about the defence operating with the amount of territory we had against us.

“All in all, to see an England side ranked second in the world, with the team they put out, taking shots at goal was a sign of respect for the way the boys played.”
