Bristol Bears take on Zebre at Ashton Gate on Sunday, December 18th (1pm). Here's everything you need to know.

We've teamed up with 15 Bristol-based charity partners to welcome their staff to Ashton Gate for Sunday's European Challenge Cup clash with Zebre (1pm KO).

Staff and volunteers from BS3, South Bristol Scouts, St Monica’s Trust, Gloucester Cricket Foundation, Flamingo Chicks, Ignite Bristol (Access Sport), Incredible Me (Oasis Long Cross), Ciao Foundation, Southmead Development Trust, Wooden Spoon, St Peter's Hospice, Bristol Animal Rescue Centre, Heart Heroes, Star Scheme, Grand Appeal, Children's Hospice South West and Project Zulu have all been invited to this weekend's game via ticketing codes shared directly with the charities.

The ticket office is open from 10am-11.30am with the phone lines open until 1.15pm.

DJ Seb Bailey will be banging out the Christmas tunes all afternoon, as we gear up for the festive season with one final outing at Ashton Gate in 2022. Check out his playlist here.

GETTING TO THE GATE

Clean Air Zone - NOW LIVE

Bristol’s Clean Air Zone (CAZ) is now live and fans are encouraged to check whether they will be affected.

Non-compliant vehicles will be charged between £9 and £100 per day to drive through the zone in central Bristol.

Although Ashton Gate itself sits just outside of the zone, some roads near the stadium are within it and thus we encourage fans to carefully plan their journey.

Full details on the CAZ including maps, schedule of charges and a vehicle compliance checker can be found at www.cleanairforbristol.org/caz/.

Matchday bus

All three matchday services will be operating with pre-match departures between 1030 and 1230 however a different timetable will operate as follows:

  • AG1 Portway Park & Ride (via Portway) – approx. every 20 mins
  • AG2 Brislington Park & Ride (direct service) – approx. every 30 mins
  • AG3 Temple Meads (via Broadmead and the centre) – approx. every 20 mins

Travel starts from £1 return with free parking available with the AG1 and AG2. All services drop-off and collect from Winterstoke Road, outside Ashton Gate. TEDDY TRUST

We’ve teamed up with the Teddy Trust for this weekend’s match against Zebre in the EPCR Challenge Cup.

We’re sending out a Christmas SOS to Bears supporters to bring down teddy bears to donate to the Trust this matchday. On the day you’ll be able to find a collection point under the clock in the south stand concourse.

The Teddy Trust collects teddy bears from children around the UK and sends them to children who are suffering the traumas of war, starvation or abuse. The trust has sent over 140,000 teddy bears to children to date.

DONATE YOUR OLD SHIRTS TO KITMAS

As part of Bears Giving Back week, we’ve also partnered with Kitmas to provide good quality football kits to children in the UK who may not otherwise receive Christmas present this year.

More families than ever before will struggle to afford gifts this Christmas due to the cost of living crisis. Many Bears fans will have childhood memories of the joy and excitement of pulling on a new kit, and Kitmas aims to spread that happiness around the country.

The partnership with Kitmas is part of our continuing sustainability initiative, Project Whitebeam and our efforts to reduce all forms of waste by extending the lifecycle of every donated kit.
