Bears reveal Season Card and matchday ticket options

Bristol Bears are now able to offer our season card holders and matchday ticket holders clarity on how to watch and support the club ahead of the campaign restart on Saturday, August 15th.

Firstly, we would like to thank our supporters for their continued patience and understanding. We are aware how frustrating it has been but we have been working tirelessly with our governing body and broadcast partners to provide the best possible options for our fans.

Working in conjunction with BT Sport and PRL, we hope to be able to offer our valid season card holders a BT Sport Match Day streaming pass for home fixtures. Please note, by selecting a refund (Option 3), you will unfortunately no longer be deemed a valid 2019/20 season card holder.

We are aware that our supporters have not been able to watch the full number of matches that they had paid for and will find themselves in a variety of financial situations during these unprecedented times. We hope the information below enables all fans to select the best option for their personal situation, whilst continuing to support Pat Lam and the team in what is the most exciting chapter in the club’s history.

It has been an incredibly challenging time for everybody and you will be aware of how hard sports clubs have been hit economically by losing all matchday and commercial revenues since March. We urge you – where possible – to please consider donating to the Bristol Bears Academy and supporting the development of homegrown talent by selecting option one, or the ticketing credit in option two.

SEASON CARD HOLDERS

Please note your season card will automatically default to Option 1 (below) if you do not make a selection by the deadline date of 5pm Sunday, August 9th.

OPTION ONE

  • The remaining value of your Season Card will go directly to the Bristol Bears Academy. A key pillar of our vision is to develop homegrown talent and, in recent seasons, the likes of Joe Joyce, Callum Sheedy and Andy Uren have come through the system to represent the club in the top-flight.
  • Season Card holders that select Option 1 will receive priority one access to claim a free match ticket for the first Premiership games played at Ashton Gate in front of crowds during the 2019/20 season. Please note, attendance numbers are subject to government and public health guidelines.
  • Free entry into each home game-day prize draw to win merchandise PLUS one exclusive chance to win a tour of the brand new Bears High Performance Centre.

OPTION TWO

  • Season Card holders can choose to receive a pro-rata ticketing credit, boosted by 10 per cent (i.e. if you have £50 pro-rata remaining you will receive £55 in ticketing credit to put towards next season’s games).
  • The Ticketing Credit can only be used on Bristol Bears Season Card or home league match ticket purchases up until Monday, May 31st
  • Free entry in to each home game-day prize draw to win merchandise PLUS one exclusive chance to win a tour of the brand new Bears High Performance Centre.
  • Season Card holders that select Option 2 will receive priority two access to purchase a match ticket for the first home Premiership games played at Ashton Gate in front of crowds during the 2019/20 season. Please note, attendance numbers are subject to government and public health guidelines.

OPTION THREE

  • Opt for a pro-rata refund. Simply respond with this choice on the supporter survey and we will process your request. Your refund will be processed within 10-15 business days. You will no longer hold a valid 2019/20 season card.

MATCHDAY TICKET PURCHASERS

  • The Ticketing Credit can only be used on Bristol Bears Season Card or home league match ticket purchases up until Monday, May 31st

OPTION TWO

  • The value of your match ticket purchase(s) will go directly to the Bristol Bears Academy supporting the young, homegrown players who will pull on the jersey in the future.

OPTION THREE
