Bears stars backing Break the Cycle 2020

Stars from Bristol Bears have given their backing to the Community Foundation's Break The Cycle 2020 campaign by taking part in a static bike relay to raise funds for the club's official charity.

The fundraiser had been scheduled for Sunday, June 28th before falling victim to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic – but entrants can still support the event, and their chosen charities, by taking part in its replacement fundraising challenge.

While observing all Government guidance on exercise and social distancing, you can support Break the Cycle 2020 by cycling a minimum distance of 30 miles, nominating three people on social media to do the same (using #BreakTheCycle2020) and donating £5 by clicking here.

And the Bears players are also involved, with the Piutau brothers, Siale and Charles, completing 30 miles on a static bike before handing the baton on to Callum Sheedy.

In a relay format, the players will each complete their leg, before donating £5 to the cause and nominating a teammate.
