Bears to host Bath in season opener

The Gallagher Premiership returns to Ashton Gate with a bang as the Bears welcome West Country rivals Bath to BS3 for a mouth-watering round one clash on Friday, September 9th (7.45pm KO).

2022/23 FIXTURE LIST

The Bears go head-to-head with Johann van Graan’s side on the opening day of the 2022/23 campaign, live on BT Sport, with a bumper Ashton Gate crowd expected.

Tickets are now on priority sale to Season Ticket holders and members for the first four home games of the season (Bath, London Irish, Exeter Chiefs and Worcester Warriors) with general sale starting at 11am on Tuesday, July 26thfind out more here.

Following the release of the 2022/23 season fixtures, we’re also delighted to confirm our match ticket pricing for the new campaign.

Pat Lam’s men make the trip to Coventry to face Wasps in round two, before hosting London Irish in round three.

A trip to Kingston Park to face Newcastle Falcons awaits in round four, while Exeter Chiefs are the visitors in round five for another West Country bonanza under the Friday Night Lights (both live on BT Sport).

All roads lead to Twickenham in round 14 as the Bears take on Harlequins in Big Game 14 on Tuesday, December 27th (live on ITV).

Elsewhere, there’s a New Year’s Day showdown with Wasps at Ashton Gate, while the regular league season finishes with a sizzling home derby against Gloucester on Saturday, May 6th.

Director of Rugby, Pat Lam, said: “Kicking off the season against Bath is fantastic for both sets of supporters and we’re excited for another big night at Ashton Gate. Our last two derbies on the opening night of the season have sold out, and we know our community will get behind us again on September 9th.
