Bears TV: club launches digital video platform

Bristol Bears have become the first professional rugby club in the UK to launch its own digital video platform, Bears TV.

Supporters can now access a dedicated video on demand (VOD) channel with exclusive news, highlights and live streamed content.

In association with PT SportSuite, Bears TV provides behind-the-scenes access, bringing fans closer to the action than ever before.

Group Head of Communications Lisa Knights said: “The team works incredibly hard to provide our fans with unique and engaging content. Our primary aim is to keep supporters connected to our clubs and this has never been more important than throughout Covid, particularly with games being played behind closed doors.

“Bears TV is the latest of our sporting group’s VOD channels (following Robins TV and the recently launched Flyers TV). In partnership with PT Sportsuite we have developed a digital media ecosystem which can host all of our video content in one safe and secure place. It allows us to collect, store, publish and broadcast our media content in a ‘one-stop-shop’ environment, which we hope our fans will enjoy.”
