Bears Women quintet selected for Red Roses U20s

Five Bristol Bears Women's players have been included in Jo Yapp’s England Under-20 squad for the Tri Nation Cup opener against USA on Saturday.

Hollie Cunningham has been named in the second row, while Ebony Jefferies will start at number eight for the young Red Roses.

Lucie Skuse will wear the number ten jersey and Phoebe Murray will start at outside-centre for the tournament opener with Florence Long named among Yapp’s finishers.

In the three-nation tournament hosted by Canada last year, England secured the title as they went undefeated across their matches with a 36-17 victory over USA and a 27-17 win against Canada.
