Sarah Bern has been named at tight-head for the Red Roses as they face Italy at Sandy Park on Saturday afternoon.
England Women head coach Simon Middleton has made five changes to his starting fifteen for the penultimate round of the Women’s Six Nations as the Red Roses continue their pursuit of a Grand Slam tournament victory.
The Red Roses are three bonus-point wins from three so far in the 2019 Women’s Six Nations as they prepare to face unbeaten Italy at Sandy Park, Exeter in the fourth round.
Bern will be looking to continue her fine form in this year’s tournament against the Azzuri and the Bristol Bears Women prop was at her destructive best against Wales Women, scoring two tries in a Player of the Match display at the Cardiff Arms Park.
