Blake Boyland scored his second international try in successive weeks as England U18s defeated Wales 42-14 with an impressive six-try victory at Sardis Road, Pontypridd.
In a game featuring four Bristol Rugby Academy youngsters – Will Capon, Blake Boyland Charlie Powell (all England) and Charlie Brabham (Wales) – scrum-half Boyland crossed for his side’s final try late on to cap a resounding win for Joh Fletcher’s side (video below).
Capon started at hooker for England while Boyland and Powell – a late call-up – were among the replacements. Front-rower, Charlie Brabham was named on the Wales U18s bench – his first international call-up.
England led 21-0 at the break with tries from Sam Dugdale, Ollie Lawrence and Tom de Glanville with de Glanville also kicking three conversions.
Wales responded in the second period with two converted tries, but further England scores for de Glanville, Ollie Sleightholme and Boyland sealed victory.

"In patches we played well and if you put all our best bits together that would be a good reflection,” said England U18s head coach, John Fletcher.
"It got a little bit stop-start in the second half when we could have kicked on, but we've scored six tries and we are pleased with that.
"Overall, we are pleased, but we know we can get better and we will get better over the course of the next week heading into the Six Nations Festival. Our aim is always to get better."
John Fletcher’s side, who were playing in their third fixture of the season, started well and Tom Marshall’s break through the Wales defence saw Dugdale power over after good support from the flanker with de Glanville adding the extras.
Lawrence showed great strength to wriggle over in the corner and de Glanville’s conversion gave England a 14-0 lead.
On the stroke of half-time England went through multiple phases and that allowed de Glanville to dart through and he converted his own score for a 21-0 lead at the break.
Wales made a fast start to the second period with Ellis Bevan darting through and Sam Costelow converting.
Superb handling from England’s three-quarters saw Sleightholme touch down in the corner and de Glanville added a fourth conversion.
A loose England penalty kick from inside their own 22m gave Wales good territory and Ioan Davies finished off the break which Costelow converted for 28-14.
De Glanville had a second try, following Lawrence's fine offload in contact, and he converted his own score for 35-14.
Boyland touched down under the posts with de Glanville maintaining his perfect record with the boot as England secured victory.
