Break The Cycle 2018 - entries now open

Entries for Break The Cycle 2018 are now officially open, as the countdown begins to this year’s showpiece fundraising event.

The cycling event will take place on Sunday, July 1st, starting at Ashton Gate Stadium and offering a choice of four routes for all abilities – Bronze (40 miles), Silver (60 miles), Gold (100 miles), or the newly-included 10-mile Spectrum route.

“We’re really excited about Break The Cycle 2018 and anticipate another big turnout this year,” said event director, Paul Glanville.

“Last year, we raised more than £25,000 and we’ll be looking to beat that total in July.

“Break The Cycle really is a fantastic community fundraiser and we can’t wait for the big day to arrive.”

It’s the eighth year of Break the Cycle, with last year’s edition raising more vital funds for Bristol Sport Foundation, Bristol City Community Trust, Bristol Rugby Community Foundation and Bristol Flyers Community, as more than 300 cyclists braved the scorching conditions to complete their chosen route.
