Bristol Bears 'A' fixture versus Harlequins postponed

The Premiership Shield fixture between Bristol Bears ‘A’ and Harlequins has been postponed, we regret to announce.

Due to a series of injuries to the tighthead position, the club have taken the mutual decision with Quins to rearrange the clash, which had been scheduled for 4pm on Saturday at Clifton RFC.

Pat Lam’s men face Stade Francais in the European Challenge Cup, with tightheads Max Lahiff, James Lay and Nicky Thomas travelling to Paris for the game.

Meanwhile, Bristol are without Jake Armstrong (groin), Lewis Thiede (neck), Jordan Lay (back), Nick English (toe) and John Afoa (dead leg).

The date and time of the rearranged clash will be confirmed in due course.
