Bristol Bears partner with Turners Coachways

Bristol-based family company Turners are set to provide first class travel service to Bristol Sport’s teams from the 2020/21 campaign.

Bristol City and Bristol Bears will have branded luxury modern coaches for away travel, while Turners will also support Flyers, the clubs’ Academies and women’s teams.

Bristol Sport Group Head of Commercial Caroline Herbert said: “It’s fantastic to be in partnership with a local company who can provide a top-quality service – that’s a key part of the Bristol Sport vision.

“The branded coaches will allow our players to travel in comfort with state-of-the-art facilities compatible with elite athletes and to ensuring they are prepared to perform after a long journey.

“Everybody at Bristol Sport would like to pay tribute to Peter Carol Coaches for their 38 years’ service to our clubs – we thank them for their commitment and dedication.”

Managing Director of Turners Coachways Kevyn Jones said: “We are delighted to be the travel partner of Bristol Sport during this exciting time in their development.

“We aspire to offer the very highest standards of coach hire to all our customers and our ability to deliver to elite sports teams standards is testament to the work of our staff.”

For the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign Peter Carol will continue to support the Bears first team for away travel.
