Bristol Sport continues cross-group partnership with UWE Bristol

Bristol Sport and the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) have entered into a new two-year partnership.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, UWE Bristol will form digital partnerships with the Bears men’s and women’s sides, in addition to becoming a kit partner to the Bristol Flyers and Bristol City Women teams.

Students at UWE Bristol will continue to benefit from exclusive ticket discounts and offers at club fixtures across the group.

UWE alumni have long-enjoyed professional playing careers with Bristol Sport’s clubs, combining academic studies with their first team commitments.

Former students of the University have also moved on to successful careers with the ‘team behind the team’ at Bristol Sport, taking on full-time roles with the group's various departments.

UWE Bristol Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost Professor Amanda Coffey said: “We are pleased to be renewing our partnership with Bristol Sport, an organisation we are proud to be working with. Sport is an important part of the student experience at UWE Bristol. It is great that we are able to continue our commitment to sport across our community, and further strengthen the opportunities for our students to engage and participate.”

Justine Kebby, Bristol Sport Group Head of Commercial added: “We’re delighted to agree a new two-year partnership with UWE”.

“It’s great to see companies seeing the value of partnering with multiple clubs across the Bristol Sport group”.

“UWE are a huge institution in the region and we’re looking forward to continue to strengthen our relationship going forward”.
