Bristol To Host Japan Ahead Of Rugby World Cup

Bristol Rugby are set to host the Japan national side ahead of the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Eddie Jones’ men will use the Clifton RFC training facilities between September 1 and September 11 as a training camp prior to the tournament.

“We’re delighted to be hosting Japan, their players, coaching staff and officials in September,” Team Manager John Harrison told bristolrugby.co.uk.

“Eddie [Jones] and his team came to the training ground to view our facilities and discuss ways that we can link up during their stay for mutual benefit.

“In preparation for their Rugby World Cup campaign, Japan will use our training pitches, gym and meeting room, while we will link up for set-piece and live training sessions.”
