A bucket collection in aid of CLIC Sargent - a cancer charity for children and young people – will take place at Sunday's GKIPA Championship game between Bristol Rugby and Bedford Blues.
The collection has been organised by Emma and Kirk Towers, whose daughter Imogen was diagnosed with a brain tumour at six months old. She underwent several operations and years of chemotherapy, but in October 2017 the tumour again started to develop. In November, she underwent another 11-hour operation in Bristol Children’s Hospital.
On Sunday, April 22nd, 2018, Emma and Kirk will be ‘Running for Imogen’ in the London Marathon to raise funds for Cancer and Leukaemia in Children (CLIC).
CLIC has assisted the family during these difficult times. The generosity of Bristol Rugby and the fans here today will hopefully help them raise money for this worthy cause. Thank you.
