Bristol Bears Academy duo, Nathan Chamberlain and Nick English will go head-to-head in Six Nations action this weekend after being named in the Wales U20 and Scotland U20 matchday squads.
Both are named among the replacements for the clash at Edinburgh’s Meggetland Sports Complex (7.30pm KO), which can be followed via social media.
Scotland head coach, Carl Hogg, said: “I think there are aspects of our game that are really pleasing. When we get ball in hand, we are creating opportunities. We look very sharp and very clinical, which is really pleasing.
“The key challenge for us, as we’ve discussed all week, is making sure we perform consistently under pressure. And that’s the key for a full 80-minute performance.
“There have been huge improvements made over the first three games, but international rugby is about performing under pressure, so we’re looking forward to continuing our development this Friday night against Wales.”
Wales head coach, Gareth Williams, said: “There are a number of changes in the squad, and this is a reflection of the competition we have leading towards the World Cup,” he said.
“We are very focussed on the challenge of Scotland. They are a good team who will be excited to be at home and they will pose a real threat to us.
“We’ve been keen to put England behind us despite being proud of the resolve we showed in gaining that result.”
City Under-23s' Professional Development League play-off final today (Tuesday, May 17th, 7pm) at Ashton Gate will be streamed live on Robins TV.
