Cliff: Ashton Gate Atmosphere Will Be Immense

Will Cliff believes the sell-out crowd at Ashton Gate can inspire the team in the Championship final second leg on Wednesday (7.45pm KO).

The scrum half played a key role in Bristol's first leg fightback as the visitors ran out 28-13 winners at Castle Park.

"It's nice to have a lead but we won't get ahead of ourselves, there's another eighty minutes of rugby to be played and we know that anything can still happen," Cliff told bristolrugby.co.uk.

"The focus is on delivering another performance at Ashton Gate. We know what our roles are and we know that we have a job to do in front of our home supporters.

"For it to be a sell-out crowd is just fantastic. It's a huge boost for everyone in the squad and we're excited to play in front of that atmosphere, it's what you play rugby for.

"We won't be thinking too much about the occasion. It's about the game and coming through with a professional, well-organised performance.

"The guys have shown that we have the right desire and attitude, it's one last push now and we're looking forward to getting back out there."
