Club launches interactive matchday programme

Bristol Bears will be the first Gallagher Premiership club to integrate augmented reality into their matchday programme, with the official club app bringing the club’s interactive publication to life, further enhancing supporter’s Ashton Gate experience.

Exclusive video content can be activated using the official club app, which can be downloaded for free on Apple and Android - simply look out for the ‘R’ logo and follow the instructions below:

1. Download and open the app (search for ‘Bristol Bears’ on the app store).

2. Login with your Single Sign On username and password (the same login you use for the ticketing and retail websites) or create one.

3. Tap the menu icon in the top left and choose ‘AR’ from the options.

4. Tap ‘Activate AR mode’ (you may need to allow the app access to your camera).

5. Hover the camera over any image or page where the AR logo appears.

6. Extra exclusive content will now play within the app, as an overlay on the page in the camera

The official Bears app can be downloaded from the links below:

In the first edition of the 2018/19 Gallagher Premiership season, we’ve got:

  • Feature interview with George Smith
  • The latest from the Bristol Bears Academy
  • Steve Cotton on the club rebrand and life in the Gallagher Premiership
  • Mark Hoskins looks back at a memorable Past Encounter
  • Win four tickets to Showcase Cinema in Kids’ Corner
