Community Foundation Land Rover Cup 2020 - save the date

The Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup returns this season with Bristol Bears Community Foundation hosting its event on Sunday, March 15th 2020 at Bristol Grammar School.

The under-11 and under-12 grassroots rugby festival is part of a series of nationwide events which provide aspiring young players the opportunity to play in a competitive event and meet professional players from Bristol Bears.

All of teams playing will have an opportunity to be selected to win a prize of a trip to the Premiership Final at Twickenham courtesy of Land Rover.

All teams - made up of coaches, players and their parents - that best demonstrate the core values of our game will be entered into the draw on the afternoon of the festival.

The events are designed to provide young players with a chance to play competitive fixtures in a format that is appropriate for their ages and stage of development, all within the spirit of rugby’s core values of teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship.

“We’re excited about this year’s event which will see up to 32 teams from across the Combination take part in a festival of rugby with the values of our game at the very heart and focus of the day,” said community development manager, Craig Capel.

“We hope to see players and staff from Bristol Bears, which will contribute to an experience that young players will remember forever.

“I look forward to seeing the next generation of Bristol Bears players on show. A huge thanks to Bristol Grammar School for supporting the Land Rover Premiership Cup.”

Since its inception in 2008, the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup has seen more than 82,000 children from all over the country take part; enough to fill Twickenham Stadium.

So, get involved at Bristol Bears Community Foundation and support the young stars of your local clubs.
