Community Foundation staff take on fundraising challenges

Staff from Bristol Bears Community Foundation are taking on a pair of tough fundraising challenges, in aid of the their own charity and St Peter's Hospice.

Starting earlier this week, the hardy group began their Climb Kilimanjaro Stair Challenge - undertaking 520 flights of stairs each - a total of 2,600 flights and 39,000 steps - to reach the peak of the highest mountain in Africa.

The 10 volunteers have been split into two teams and can earn points for their team by completing additional tasks, including quickest completion of their 520 flights, or wearing fancy dress.

The challenge should be completed on Sunday, April 26th, after which, Community Development Manager, Craig Capel will embarks on a 26km row every day for six days, for the same two causes.
