Community Foundation To Deliver Inclusive Rugby Provision

Bristol Rugby Community Foundation has teamed up with Premiership Rugby and the RFU to launch a disability focused rugby provision across the city.

The inclusive rugby programmes will explore a variety of formats of the game, working towards mixed-ability and shared rugby games. Specialist coaches will deliver fun, accessible and interactive games and activities to players over the age of 16 with any level of disability.

Working with local combination clubs, sixth form schools and community care providers throughout the 12-week programme, Bristol Rugby Community Foundation will provide meaningful transition routes into local clubs at the heart of participants communities.

Inclusive Rugby kicks off at St Mary’s Old Boys RFC (BS36 1RY) ‪on Monday 13th March, from 6.30-8pm.

Open to males and females over 16, pan-disability, of any level of rugby experience, as well as all non-disabled volunteers or other interested volunteers.

For more information contact Kris Tavender (ktavender@bristolrugby.co.uk).
