Grace Crompton scored twice as England's women beat Scotland 29-5 to secure fifth at the Commonwealth Games.
England opened the scoring in the early stages when a good finish from Celia Quansah made it 7-0 to the hosts.
Defence dominated in the first half, with offense struggling to take opportunities but Scotland ended the half the brighter with a score from Chloe Rollie cutting the deficit to two at the interval.
The home side re-established their two score advantage immediately after the break, the in-form Ellie Boatman touching down before Grace Crompton extended their lead soon after making it 17-5 with three minutes to go.
With time ticking away on the clock tries from Megan Jones and Crompton grabbing her second of the contest made sure of a comfortable 29-5 victory to seal fifth place at the games for England's women.
