The England sevens squads for this weekend’s Rugby Europe Sevens Trophy Series in Budapest have been announced (17-19 June and live on www.rugbyeurope.tv).
Fresh from their tournament victory in Zagreb last weekend, England Women kick off proceedings on Friday (17 June) and face Finland, Georgia and Israel in Pool A.
Head coach James Rodwell has named a 13-player group for the event which takes place at Budapest Rugby Centre Stadium.
Abbie Brown captains a squad with one change from last weekend as Emma Uren returns after sustaining an injury in the World Sevens Series leg in Toulouse last month.
Rodwell said: “We’ve had a strong week of training and are looking to continue where we left off last week in Zagreb.
“It’s great to welcome Emma Uren back.
“We know we need to be diligent on and off the field as we continue our preparation for the Commonwealth Games (Birmingham 2022) and our World Cup qualifier.
“It’s an opportunity for all players to get some game time and put their hand up for selection for the games next month.”
