Bristol Rugby's Max Crumpton has been ruled out for up to four months following a knee injury.
The hooker sustained the injury during the second half of the Greene King IPA Championship victory over Plymouth Albion on New Year’s Day.
Since his arrival in the summer, Crumpton has impressed in the blue and white hoops, making thirteen appearances, scoring four tries.
The Club’s medical staff are targeting a return to play prior to the promotion play-offs in May.
