Daniel Brooks Signs Short Term Deal

Bristol have signed fly half Daniel Brooks on a four-month deal, the Club confirmed today.

The New Zealander - who is English qualified - provides competition for Adrian Jarvis and Callum Sheedy, while Matthew Morgan (international duty) and Gavin Henson (shin) are unavailable.

Former Taranaki man Brooks spent last season with Romanian Superliga side CSM Baia Mare.

"Daniel joins us at a time when we are relatively light in the fly half position, so it's a good opportunity to work hard and compete for a starting place," Director of Rugby Andy Robinson told bristolrugby.co.uk.

"He meets our EQP requirements which is important and can also play at twelve and fifteen, so he gives us cover across the backline.”
