Dawe Earns England U20 Call-Up

Ollie Dawe has been included in the England U20s squad ahead of a training camp at Loughborough University on Monday.

The Academy prop – who joined the Club in the summer from Plymouth Albion – earns a call-up to Martin Haag’s squad for the first time.

Dawe is currently dual-registered with Cornish Pirates and has been involved in games for Bristol United against Bath, Gloucester and Oxford University.

“We’re delighted for Ollie and this opportunity to experience the England U20s environment is down to the hard work he has put in since arriving at Bristol,” Academy Manager Mike Hall told bristolrugby.co.uk.

“Ollie has all the attributes to be a very good prop, so it’s important he continues to work hard and develop his learning of the game.

“He’s been working closely with our Academy Forwards Coach Mark Irish. It’s great for Bristol Rugby and for Ollie that his efforts are being recognised.”
