Education Academy: Open Afternoon and Information Evening

Bristol Bears Community Foundation will host an Open Afternoon and an Information Evening on its brand-new Education Academy, which opens its doors in September.

Open Afternoon (practical coaching/training session) | Thursday, February 20th | 3pm-5pm | Bristol Bears training ground (Clifton RFC)

Students will work through a range of practical rugby-based activities alongside Bristol Bears Community Foundation staff, who will support delivery of the education academy from September 2020. The session will provide prospective students with a clear understanding of what to expect from some of the practical aspects of the education academy. Parents/carers are very much welcome to watch the session and are encouraged to meet with community staff.

Information Evening | Wednesday, February 26th | 6pm-8pm | Ashton Gate Stadium

Staff from Bristol Bears Community Foundation, together with representatives from our education partner SCL, look forward to presenting our education academy to prospective students and their parents/ carers. The evening will provide attendees information about the education outcomes, the playing/coaching elements of the course, exit routes and possible career paths.
