Local lad, Ellis Genge is set for his first Championship start when Bristol face Jersey on Friday evening (7.45pm KO).
The Academy prop is one of seven changes to the side that secured a bonus point victory over Plymouth Albion.
Jack Tovey makes a first league start since February, while Gavin Henson and Craig Hampson return for the Ashton Gate clash.
Anthony Perenise is selected in the front row, while Glen Townson and Mitch Eadie also come into the pack.
Jack Lam is listed among the replacements after recovering from a face injury sustained in March.
