Enter Your Team Into Community Foundation's Land Rover Cup

Bristol Rugby Community Foundation’s Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup will be held at Bristol Grammar School’s Sports Ground on Clevedon Road, Failand on Sunday, 16th April.

The Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup is a nationwide rugby competition providing Under-11 and Under-12 players with a competitive experience all within the spirit of rugby’s core values of teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship.

The competition is designed appropriately to a player’s age and stage of development and will give young players the chance to meet professional players from their Premiership Rugby Club.

Chief community officer, Ben Breeze said: “The Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup is a hugely exciting event and we look forward to seeing hundreds of young rugby players competing at such fantastic facilities at Bristol Grammar School.

“We would like to thank Rick Sellers and all of the staff at Bristol Grammar School for their support in letting us use their Sports Ground for the competition.”

Community Manager, Craig Capel said: "We're delighted to be hosting the festival that will provide a meaningful experience for young players from across the city.

“Players and staff from Bristol Rugby will be joining us for the event, which will contribute to an experience that young players will remember forever.

“I look forward to no doubt seeing the next generation of Bristol Rugby players on show. Huge thanks must go to Bristol Grammar School for supporting the event."

Bristol Grammar School’s Head of Rugby, Ben Scott said: “We’re delighted to be hosting the Premiership Land Rover Cup at our BGS Sports Ground. BGS Rugby boasts a number of young players who are part of the Academy set up at Bristol and we look forward to continue developing the relationship with the club and the community foundation.”

First delivered in 2008, the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup has been running for eight seasons and has engaged nearly 68,000 young. All of the teams attending have the opportunity to win a prize of a visit Twickenham for the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final on May 27th 2017.
