Ian Evans has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury on Saturday.
The lock sustained the injury following a collision during the first half of the victory over Plymouth Albion at Brickfields.
Evans has made eighteen appearances for the Club since joining from Ospreys at the beginning of the season.
“We’re disappointed to lose Ian at such an important part of the season, but that’s the nature of professional rugby – it’s a collision game,” Director of Rugby Andy Robinson told bristolrugby.co.uk.
“Ian remains a key member of the squad and he has a part to play as we approach the play-offs.
“His experience and input will be invaluable to the team on the training ground.”
Jack Lam is available for selection on Friday following an eye socket fracture, while Mark Sorenson, Chris Brooker and Max Crumpton are set to return to full training.
James Hall (foot) and Rhys Lawrence (knee) are undergoing the rehabilitation process and are expected to be available for the play-offs.
