Everything you need to know: Anglo-Welsh derby

Bristol Bears will host Cardiff Rugby in an Anglo-Welsh friendly clash at Ashton Gate on Friday, November 11th.

Season Ticket holders will receive free access as the replacement game for the cancelled Worcester Warriors fixture.

Tickets start from just £25 for adults and £10 for children and as a thank you to our loyal supporters, fans can also take advantage of free travel to the game via the AG3 bus route from Temple Meads via Broadmead and the city centre.

Be sure to arrive early to enjoy our thriving fan village, with food and drink outlets including the XV Gin bar where you may spot a player or two! Remember, inside the Ashton Gate Stadium concourses, food will be available for cashless purchase from all concessions.

REMEMBRANCE DAY

Following the annual Remembrance Service at The Memorial Stadium in the morning, Ashton Gate will observe two minutes silence on Friday night after the sounding of The Last Post. Representatives from Bristol Bears and Cardiff will also lay wreaths.

TEAM NEWS

Noah Heward will make his debut when Bristol Bears welcome Cardiff Rugby to Ashton Gate for an Anglo-Welsh friendly (7.45pm KO).

The former Worcester man is named at full-back for the Remembrance Day clash, with Gabriel Ibitoye and Deago Bailey completing the back three.

Ioan Lloyd starts at fly-half alongside scrum-half Will Porter, with Academy duo Harry Ascherl and Joe Jenkins in the midfield.

In the pack, the Benz-Salomon twins line up on either side of Jake Kerr in the front row, with captain Joe Joyce and Ed Holmes in the second row.

Joe Batley, Fitz Harding and Magnus Bradbury complete the forwards, with James Williams and Rich Lane included among the system players.

MATCHDAY TRAVEL

All fans will be able to use the AG3 matchday bus for FREE when Bears host Cardiff Rugby in the much-anticipated Anglo-Welsh friendly (Fri 11th Nov, 7.45pm).

The AG3 services stops at Temple Meads, Broadmead and the city centre before dropping right outside Ashton Gate.

This is ideal for fans to connect with dozens of public bus routes across Bristol and services which stop at Bristol Coach Station. Click here to view the First Bus Bristol route map.

The AG1 Portway Park & Ride and AG2 Brislington Park & Ride will operate with standard fares and provide free parking as usual.

Services will depart between 1715 and 1915 on all routes as follows:

  • AG1 Portway Park & Ride - every 25 mins
  • AG2 Brislington Park & Ride – every 30 mins
  • AG3 Temple Meads via Broadmead & centre - every 15 mins
