Foundation's budding journalists go VIP at Allianz Park

Bristol Bears Community Foundation’s Disability Journalism Programme joined their heroes at Allianz Park on Saturday, as they went VIP at the Gallagher Premiership clash against the reigning champions.

Pupils from the programme were invited to the game by Saracens captain, Brad Barritt, after meeting him at the 2017/18 Premiership Final at Twickenham in May.

Bristol Bears COO Mark Tainton, Saracens centre Marcelo Bosch and Barritt himself, were all on hand to welcome the young people to Allianz Park, while they also had their photo taken with head coach, Pat Lam ahead of kick off.

“What an incredible experience for our young journalists, meeting the great and good of the Gallagher Premiership at the home of the league champions,” said programme manager, Kris Tavender.

“We were honoured to receive the invitation from Brad Barritt and Saracens and look forward to welcoming youngsters from their community programmes to Ashton Gate in April.”
