Young Bears fans will once again be able to enjoy free fruit on matchdays as part of our commitment to promote healthier lifestyles for children.
Initially launched in 2018, free fruit will once again be available from the Lower Lansdown kiosks for kids to be able to tuck into a healthy matchday snack.
Ashton Gate Managing Director Mark Kelly commented: “We know that encouraging children to eat healthily isn’t always easy. We hope by re-introducing the Free Fruit initiative that we can make a difference to the healthy eating habits of our younger fans.
“Research shows that some children don’t eat any fruit at all in a week. Matchdays tend to be a ritual and part of a routine, so we hope that by offering this, youngsters will at least have the ability to get one of their five-a -day whilst enjoying a day out at the stadium.”
One item of fruit is available per child and subject to availability.
