Free teacher CPD on Ashton Gate Stadium pitch

Bristol Bears Community Foundation is delighted to offer a free morning of CPD for primary school teachers at Ashton Gate Stadium, the home of the Bristol Bears.

As part of our Celebration of Sport event, hosted at the stadium on Tuesday 25th May, we will be giving local primary school teachers the chance to engage with Premiership Rugby Champions App training alongside an on-pitch coach education session to pass on some tag rugby and coaching expertise. The session will be delivered by community coaches from Bristol Bears who are also experienced coach educators.

Premiership Rugby Champions is an interactive cross curriculum-based digital app, developed with expert learning technology company, Aspire 2Be, to inspire primary school children to get moving whilst developing important life skills. Developed by teachers for teachers, Premiership Rugby Champions will provide you with interactive themed project-based lesson plans and materials for in the classroom while providing tag rugby sessions for outdoor sessions.

Every teacher that attends will be entered into a prize draw with the opportunity to receive one of many Bristol Bears related prizes for their school.
