Gabriel Ibitoye is enjoying life in his new surroundings after completing his first pre-season block at the Bears High Performance Centre.
The former Harlequins flyer made the summer switch from Israeli side Tel-Aviv Heat and returns to the Gallagher Premiership determined to play 'on instinct and feel' at his new club.
"I've settled in really well in Bristol and have enjoyed pre-season training so far," he said. "It's been tough going, but we've been working hard as a squad to get better every day. I've just loved being back in an environment daily, and that's what I've been looking forward to - it hasn't disappointed me.
"I'd like to say I'm an evasive winger. I like to beat people, enjoy the game as much as possible and play on feel and instinct."
The 24-year-old flyer returns to the UK from Israel, having represented Tel Aviv Heat in the Rugby Europe Super Cup - and Ibitoye believes his time away from the Premiership has allowed him to grow as a person and a player.
"My time away from the English game has made me more self-aware - being in different environments, learning different styles of play and just bettering my rugby knowledge, making me a better person and a better player.
"I'm just excited to get down to Ashton Gate now and all eyes are on that round one clash against Bath."
