Genge Named In England U20s Squad

Ellis Genge has been named in the England U20s squad ahead of the Junior World Championship in June.

Jon Callard's squad are set to defend their world title in Northern Italy next month (June 2-20).

England U20, who are aiming for a third consecutive championship win, take on France, Wales and Japan in the pool stages.

Callard said: “We have a good balance of experience, with players returning from last year and the new group coming in. Charlie will captain the side after doing a fantastic job during the Six Nations.

“For the entire squad it is a huge honour to represent their country in a world championship.  Some of the players are only a year behind those who have come through and been capped at senior level this year."
