Here's everything you need to know about Getting to the Gate for Friday's EPCR Challenge Cup clash with ASM Clermont Auvergne (8pm KO).
Bristol’s Clean Air Zone (CAZ) is now live and fans are encouraged to check whether they will be affected. Non-compliant vehicles will be charged between £9 and £100 per day to drive through the zone in central Bristol.
Although Ashton Gate itself sits just outside of the zone, some roads near the stadium are within it and thus we encourage fans to carefully plan their journey. Full details on the CAZ including maps, a schedule of charges and a vehicle compliance checker can be found at www.cleanairforbristol.org/caz/.
A standard service will operate on all matchday bus routes which offer travel from £1 return.
All services drop-off and collect from Winterstoke Road, outside Ashton Gate. Full details including route maps, timetables, pricing and ticket information is available at www.bristolbearsrugby.com/travel/.
The evening road closure of the A370 will not start until 10:30pm on Friday to allow supporters to depart post-match.
After that time the A370 will be closed from the A4174 Colliters Way (South Bristol Link Road) roundabout to Barrow Street (Barrow Gurney) junction. Fans leaving later are encouraged to consider alternative routes such as the A369 or A38 Bridgwater Road (via Parson Street gyratory). Diversions will be in place.
Fans walking or cycling from the city centre and harbourside are advised that Gaol Ferry Bridge is closed for repairs. Vauxhall Bridge and Bedminster Bridge remain open. Full details Gaol Ferry Bridge restoration (bristol.gov.uk).
Full information on all travel options, including details of the new Bristol’s Clean Air Zone (CAZ) are available at www.bristolbearsrugby.com/travel/.
