Getting to the Gate: Stade Francais - Jan 15th

Some important travel information ahead of Saturday night’s game against Stade Francais are detailed below.

Matchday Bus Services


A full service will operate 15 minutes later than the standard timetable for a 7.45pm kick-off [link to Travel | Bristol Bears (bristolbearsrugby.com)]. This means pre-match departures as follows:

  • AG1: every 15 mins from Portway Park & Ride between 17:45 and 19:45
  • AG2: every 20 mins from Brislington Park & Ride between 17:45 and 19:25
  • AG3: every 15 mins from Bristol Temple Meads (via Broadmead and the Centre) between 17:45 and 19:45

The AG3 connects with bus routes from across the city. Free parking is available at the Portway and Brislington Park & Ride sites with the AG1 and AG2 matchday bus services

Road

Major roadworks have begun in Bedminster affecting Malago Road, Dalby Avenue and Dean Lane. These works include one-way systems operational until summer 2024. Full details can be seen here [insert link to: Temporary road changes in Bedminster and Southville - bristol.gov.uk]

Rail

The Paddington to Exeter St Davids 9 car service will call additionally at Parson Street (pick-up only) at 22:13. This is the only train for fans travelling towards Weston and Taunton.
