Getting to the Gate: Zebre - December 18th

Here's everything you need to know about Getting to the Gate for Sunday's European Challenge Cup clash with Zebre (1pm KO).

Clean Air Zone - NOW LIVE

Bristol’s Clean Air Zone (CAZ) is now live and fans are encouraged to check whether they will be affected. Non-compliant vehicles will be charged between £9 and £100 per day to drive through the zone in central Bristol.

Although Ashton Gate itself sits just outside of the zone, some roads near the stadium are within it and thus we encourage fans to carefully plan their journey. Full details on the CAZ including maps, a schedule of charges and a vehicle compliance checker can be found at www.cleanairforbristol.org/caz/.

Matchday bus

All three matchday services will be operating with pre-match departures between 1030 and 1230 however a different timetable will operate as follows:

  • AG1 Portway Park & Ride (via Portway) – approx. every 20 mins
  • AG2 Brislington Park & Ride (direct service) – approx. every 30 mins
  • AG3 Temple Meads (via Broadmead and the centre) – approx. every 20 mins

Travel starts from £1 return with free parking available with the AG1 and AG2. All services drop-off and collect from Winterstoke Road, outside Ashton Gate. The last return service on all routes will depart at 1630pm. Full details including route maps, pricing and ticket information is available at www.bristolbearsrugby.com/travel .

Rail

A normal Sunday service should operate on rail however some services may be affected by the knock-on impact of strike action the day before.

Walking/Cycling

Fans walking or cycling from the city centre and harbourside are advised that Gaol Ferry Bridge is closed for repairs. Vauxhall Bridge and Bedminster Bridge remain open. Full details Gaol Ferry Bridge restoration (bristol.gov.uk).
