Ben Glynn insists the Ashton Gate crowd can make the difference when Bristol face top-of-the-table Yorkshire Carnegie on Sunday (1.30pm KO).
And the lock is relishing returning home following a fifth straight league victory last weekend.
“We look forward to these top of the table clashes. I think it will be good to get back to Ashton Gate and hopefully get a good turnout of support,” Glynn told bristolrugby.co.uk.
Hopefully it can click this weekend and I think we're going to need it to against a side as dangerous as Yorkshire Carnegie.
“We can’t look too far ahead, we are just focusing on each game and the top of the table is pretty congested right now, but we will keep plugging away.
“We're the best supported club in the Championship. It really helps the boys and when we do our run around at the end of the warm-up and you hear that cheer it lifts you into another gear.
“Ashton Gate is one hell of a place to play rugby and with the frame in place for the new stand, you get a sense of how big it is going to be.”
