Ben Glynn believes Bristol will need to deliver a strong performance against Cornish Pirates on Sunday (3pm KO).
Andy Robinson's side travel to Mennaye Field seeking a thirteenth straight win in the Greene King IPA Championship and Glynn insists Bristol are prepared for the challenge that awaits them.
"I've played down at the Mennaye several times now and it's always a tough, physical encounter. We need to be ready for that," the lock told bristolrugby.co.uk.
"We haven't focused too much on Cornish Pirates, the impetus has been on ourselves, our combinations, and the way we want to play on Sunday.
"Last Friday's victory saw us with a bit more fluency in our attacking play and we need to continue that against Pirates.
"The Bristol support always travel well, but we know we always get a big following down to Penzance. We want to send those fans back up the M5 happy on Sunday evening."
