Two players have penned new contracts with the Academy ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
Chippenham RFC product Sam Graham signs his first professional contract after impressing during a trial period, while lock John Hawkins signs a new deal to remain in the West Country.
Graham has made three outings in the B&I Cup this season and Hawkins – who enjoyed a promising pre-season – has been sidelined since August with a knee injury.
Academy manager Mike Hall said: “The development of our Academy players is a focal part of the club’s vision and it’s been fantastic to see our young players get first team opportunities.
“Sam [Graham] has really impressed since he arrived on trial. He’s taken his chance in the A-League and shown his potential. Sam is a raw talent with plenty of power and we’re looking forward to seeing how he progresses in the back row.
“The development of our Academy players is a focal part of the club’s vision and it’s been fantastic to see our young players get first team opportunities."
“John [Hawkins] has endured a difficult season with a long-term knee injury but he performed really well over the pre-season and the coaches like the attitude he has shown.
“John continues to contribute during his rehabilitation, assisting in coaching our Academy U18s side.
“We’re delighted to secure the futures of these young men and look forward to seeing how they flourish in the environment at Bristol Rugby next season.”
